A pattern-based grid authentication system is a unique way of authentication had enhances the traditional pattern-lock system to give a more robust and secure way of authentication to the end-users. It embedded pattern-lock functionality into the web browser which otherwise is predominantly used in mobile applications. Moreover, The project enhances the system by enforcing the user to make a recall-based password entering decision during login. The project aims at eliminating shoulder surfing and smudge attacks.
