Horizon-LEAD/2echelon
The model is based on Daganzo's distance estimation formula to provide last-mile logistics services operators with a rough estimation of the resources required for distributing in a specific zone. It returns the number of vehicles, the total distance drove and delivery time for distributing to all the nodes within the zone. The routes start and end in the same depot. The data required is the information about the depot (coordinates), the vehicle used (speed, capacity), the services and the delivery area dimension (m2) and centroid.
